I checked my installed programs and my extensions/browser ad-ons, but nothing unusual is there. I restarted and updated my computer (running windows 7) and both browsers that I use. 
I also ran CCcleaner and disk cleanup and removed temp files, to no avail. I ran a virus scan (microsoft security essentials and Malwarebytes (premium edition)). I run adblock, and have right clicked on the pop up and asked Adblock to block it, but the same ad keeps showing up. The screen greys out and a JW video player pops up, with a "clickable "button underneath that says "skip ad - you can skip this advert in 8 seconds." Several days ago, a JW video player pop up began showing up on all kinds of pages, across both my updated Google Chrome and Firefox browsers.
